DISABLED ADAPTIONS

The Practice has built up a comprehensive level of experience in dealing with disabled adaptions in both new build and refurbished/converted premises.

Projects vary in size and range from providing a disabled WC suite and associated equipment up to designing full disabled accessibility to new build and refurbished projects to include for kitchens, bathrooms, access to various upper floors and generally access to all areas of a building.

The Practice is experienced in dealing with Occupational Therapists and other Specialists to ascertain the special needs of various clients and designing specifically for those various special needs within existing and new build projects.

We are also experienced in applying for and pursuing grants available for such works.

Professional advice would include the feasibility of adaptions, recommending methods of achieving requirements of disabled/special needs, developing designs, preparing specifications of work and detailed drawings, instructing and monitoring Contractors carrying out of the works.
